Kälte-Rudi® Diagonal-Freezer® Quality
Traditional handcrafted ice cream has to be kneaded in order to become firm and dry. That’s exactly what the automatic ice cream machine from Kälte-Rudi®, the Diagonal-Freezer, offers you.
Up until now real handcrafted ice cream could only be produced in “traditional” vertical ice cream machines. The result was high-quality, firm and dry ice cream which, however, had to be removed by hand from the kettle: a time consuming, staff intensive, tedious and unhygienic operation process.
Kälte-Rudi®, therefore, developed a new generation of automatic ice cream machines: the Diagonal-Freezer®.
This Kälte-Rudi® original is a real evolution in the production of traditional ice cream. It is the result of our consistently innovative work of development in constant dialog with our customers. The Diagonal-Freezer® combines the advantages of traditional vertical ice cream machines with those of conventional freezers.
Your sensitive ice cream mix is gently kneaded and frozen to final consistency without any “washing machine effect” - and becomes a portionable, high-quality, firm and dry ice cream! The ice cream has a unique, stable, chain-linked structure.
This result is
made possible due to the perfect combination of a diagonal kettle, the
kettle’s large inside surface and the slowly turning mixer unit with
kneading function. Due to the special construction of the mixer unit and the
40% larger opening for emptying, a quick emptying of the kettle can be
achieved without leaving hardly any left-over ice cream in the kettle and
without straining your ice cream and the mechanics in the machine. The ice
cream is emptied when it’s done without any re-warming.
An automatic ice cream machine for really all varieties of ice cream: this “stracciatella” chocolate chip ice cream was prepared in our Diagonal-Freezer®, with real chocolate covering!
